He is predeceased by his parents and his brother, the late Thomas Colgan. Colgan is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Linda (nee Ference) three daughters, Melissa Wilson (Jarrold), Kristina Woods (Jimmy), and Alicia Colgan one stepson John Springsteel (Gladys) one brother Robert Colgan (Lynn) one sister Bonnie Trask (Ron) seven grandchildren, Jazmine Wilson, Dylan and Tyler Woods, Silas and Jeffrey Rivera, John and Stephen Springsteel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He greatly cherished all of his family and especially treasured his grandchildren. He was a workaholic, a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, he loved to workout, but most of all he was a family man. Colgan worked as a Supervisor for Sims Metal Management of Jersey City. Colgan, he was raised in Iselin and has resided within Woodbridge Township most of his life.
